Bookkeeper

The Land Services Group is currently seeking a full-time, permanent bookkeeper with experience in the real estate industry.

What you will do:

  • Facilitate and maintain full cycle accounting (with Quickbooks experience)
  • Handle deposits of Real Estate Trust, Commission, and General accounts
  • Manage staff/agent commissions, expenses, and payroll in a timely manner
  • Reconcile and balance all accounts including bank and credit card statements
  • Maintain subledger accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Maintain financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)
  • Collate and analyze account data and general financial reports
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Assist with budget preparation, year-end preparation for tax filing
  • Maintain the record filling system to support financial records

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Bookkeeping certification is preferred
  • Real estate brokerage or development experience
  • Accounting and/or bookkeeping experience (3-5 years preferred)
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and management
  • Team player who works well under pressure and in a fast-paced, high-energy, change-oriented environment
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Lone Wolf (min. 2 years)
  • QuickBooks: 3 years preferred
