Architect

The Land Services Group is looking for a full-time Architect or planner who graduated from a reputable Canadian University. The ideal candidate maintains a high level of professionalism as they provide analytical, research, and presentation support to the realty team and its partners. The architect should be able to use autocad for the drawings and have the knowledge regarding OBC codes.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Design concept plans and massing for low and mid rise projects 
  • Work with Autocad, Sketch up and Revit 
  • Create site plan for a land in a timely manner 
  • Communicate with municipalities and other consultants 
  • Prepare comprehensive presentation and communication materials for prospective clients
  • Research thoroughly on data collected as part of ongoing assignments is researched

Your skills and qualifications:

  • University Bachelor or master of Architecture or Planning ( P.O.O) 
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and referral letter from previous job
  • Strong time management and prioritization 
  • Ability to take initiative and be resourceful, to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of various architectural tools 
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, and can learn new tools & technologies 
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Works effectively in a team environment and independently as required 
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Fluency in English. Fluency in a second language is a bonus.
